ERHC Energy Announces Annual Shareholders’ Meeting Date
HOUSTON, Nov. 20, 2007 – ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE), an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with significant assets in the Gulf of Guinea, has announced that it will hold its next annual shareholders’ meeting on Tuesday, April 22, 2008 in Houston, Texas. Shareholders of record as of March 14, 2008 are eligible to vote at the meeting.
Shareholders of record will receive formal notice of the meeting and an invitation to attend via a Proxy Statement that will contain the time and venue of the meeting.
The address to shareholders by the President/Chief Executive Officer of the Company will review the Company’s performance and prospects. Shareholders will have the opportunity to elect directors and affirm the appointment of the Company’s independent auditors. The meeting will also be accessible in listen-only mode, by telephone and through the Internet, to the Corporation’s shareholders and all other interested parties.
