ERHC Energy, Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE) is a publicly traded American company with valuable oil and gas assets in the Gulf of Guinea, off the coast of central West Africa. Today, ERHC has interests in Blocks 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 9 in the offshore Joint Development Zone (JDZ) of Nigeria and the island nation of Sao Tome and Principe. ERHC has additional interests in the territorial waters of Sao Tome and Principe, known as the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ).
The Company has signed participation agreements with subsidiaries of Addax Petroleum Inc. and Sinopec Corp. The operators of JDZ Blocks 2 (Sinopec), 3 (Anadarko) and 4 (Addax) have secured approval from the Joint Development Authority for drilling locations.
