Chief Executive Officer Issues March 2012 Update for ERHC Shareholders

To ERHC Shareholders: I am pleased to update the investment community and other interested parties on ERHC Energy Inc. São Tomé and Príncipe Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) I am happy to report that ERHC and the National Petroleum  Agency of São Tomé and Príncipe (ANP-STP) continue to make meaningful progress on the most critical terms of the Production Sharing Contracts (PSCs) for the Company’s two exploration Blocks in the EEZ. We participated in an intensive two-day face-to-face round of PSC negotiations with the ANP-STP in São Tomé at the end of February in respect of ERHC’s 100 percent working interests in EEZ Blocks 4 and 11. Chief Executive Officer Issues January Update on ERHC Energy Inc. Activities

To ERHC Shareholders: I am pleased to update the investment community and other interested parties on ERHC Energy Inc. Chad ERHC continues to make significant strides towards commencement of the exploration program on our Chad Blocks. Following evaluation of available data related to our three blocks -- BDS 2008, Chari Ouest III and Manga -- the current indications are that our initial focus will be on the first two. Our excitement about our Chad assets has only grown as the detailed exploration work program submission takes shape.  As described during our year-end conference call, the Company is currently working to submit to the Chadians the detail and budget for the Company’s proposed work program for the first year of exploration. Chief Executive Officer Updates ERHC Energy Inc. Shareholders

To ERHC Shareholders: I am pleased to update the investment community and other interested parties on ERHC Energy Inc. Republic of Chad Earlier this summer, ERHC signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) with the Government of Chad for three oil and gas Blocks: 100 percent of the  BDS 2008 and Manga Blocks and 50 percent, of the Chari-Ouest 3 Block. Both BDS 2008 and Chari-Ouest 3 are situated adjacent to the prolific Doba Basin oil fields which had an average daily production of over 122,500 barrels of crude oil in 2010. The Manga Block is north of the Lake Chad basin.    Quite some excitement was generated in the industry when we received, as we described in August, the formal Decree of Approval issued by the President of Chad, His Excellency President Idriss Deby Itno. On July 1, 2011 Oil & Gas 360 published the report, "ERHC Energy Makes Leap Onshore Africa; Announcement Closely Follows Official Extension of Phase 1 Exploration in the Joint Development Zone."   We are posting the report below with permission.   ERHC Energy Inc. (OTCBB: ERHE) announced the company was awarded three oil blocks for exploration and development from the Republic of Chad.
